With the recent release of 2026 Topps Chrome Baseball, the buzz in the industry was the multiple bounties placed on the Shohei Ohtani double gold patch auto 1/1 card that features his autograph in both English and Japanese. Word came out today that the card was pulled from a Hobby Box from our very own Boca Sports Cards! It is unclear WHEN this happened, but reports are out that the person who hit the card has already sold it for $11 million to a group led by Kevin O’Leary.
What a life-altering moment for both the collector and the shop! Congrats to all involved!
